  • Priority:

In our recent neighbourhood policing survey, drug offences continued to be voted as a community priority for the local neighbourhood team to focus on.

    Issued 31 May 2026

    Action taken:

In July, Wycombe officers across multiple departments have worked to execute a series of coordinated warrants across High Wycombe, Chesham and Princes Risborough as part of continuous work to target organised crime and the supply of drugs. This resulted in four men being arrested and charged with Class A and Class B drug supply offences. The work to tackle drug dealing and organise crime will remain ongoing. TVP will continue with this enforcement, identifying those involved in drug supply and disrupt drug dealing operations to prevent it reaching and impacting our communities.

The Wycombe Town centre neighbourhood team will continue with their hotspot patrols to detect and deter drug offending, utilising stop and search powers where applicable. The team also continues to work with One Recovery Bucks, teaming up for joint patrols to reach those in the community who struggle with addiction and substance abuse and offering them resources and advice - work like this is crucial in the aim to prevent reoffending.

If you have any information please report on 101 or online at www. thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if a crime is in progress or you are at risk of harm.

  • Priority:

The Wycombe Town centre team deal with a large variety of anti-social behaviour in the town, including street drinking in Frogmoor and the Churchyard, youths congregating and causing anti-social behaviour around the Eden centre, and shoplifting offences targeting the retail and business community.

    Issued 31 May 2026

    Action taken:

In July, two dispersal orders have been enacted in the Town Centre due to the expected rise in youth anti-social behaviour during the summer holidays. The orders have been utilised both in anticipation for increased issues as a proactive approach, and in response to issue to prevent further issues occurring. Dispersal orders are granted for a specified area that has seen a spike in anti-social behaviour, it is a power that allows police to direct people away from the location, usually if an individual or group is seen to be responsible for the disturbances. Refusal to comply with this is a criminal offence and can result in arrest. The team have made sure to utilise the dispersal orders to the fullest, by providing an increased and visible presence in the town centre while the orders are active to be able to respond to anti-social behaviour promptly and robustly.
Efforts towards managing youth anti-social behaviour remain ongoing. The Wycombe Town Centre neighbourhood team continue to carry out daily patrols in the town, the Eden centre and bus station to both detect and deter offending. It remains one of the most patrolled locations in the whole of Thames Valley.

If you have any information please report on 101 or online at www. thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if a crime is in progress or you are at risk of harm.

    Actioned 01 August 2026

  • Priority:

In our recent neighbourhood policing survey, local residents voted speeding as one of the priorities they would like their local neighbourhood team to focus on. Another traffic issue people regularly raise concerns about is obstructive and dangerous parking in the Town Centre and other residential areas.

    Issued 31 May 2026

    Action taken:

The team continue their daily patrols of the town centre and routinely deal with vehicle and driving offences as they do so. Last month many fixed penalty notices were issued for a range of vehicle offences including parking all over the town centre. PCSOs from the team also continue to assist with school related parking, most recently reports were received for obstructive parking on Knights Templar way due to a local school sports day. This was attended to and as a result 20 tickets were issued.

Please report on 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk. Call 999 if a crime is in progress or you are at risk of harm.
