The Neighbourhood team are aware of reports on the Queensway, Leon Recreation Ground and the Blue Lagoon which are increasing. We have discussed these matters with local residents and the local authority in order to identify those at the root of the problems. We are continuing with patrols in the areas and will aim to increase these in order to locate those involved. We will look to deal with any offenders robustly in order to prevent any further crime or escalation.

The Neighbourhood team have been conducting high visibility patrols around the local estates to deter the recent spike In violent offences. Targeted hot spot patrols have been identified by local intelligence and crime related data. The NHPT will work in partnership with the local authority to utilise CCTV cameras to deter offending.
