ASB and Street Drinking, Silbury Boulevard, North 9th and 10th Street

    Issued 01 June 2026

    Action taken:

    Action taken:
Following complaints from residents, we have identified an increase in reports and gatherings linked to street-related ASB and street drinking at the junction of Silbury Boulevard with North 9th and 10th Street.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team are conducting regular high-visibility patrols in the area to prevent and detect crime. Officers are gathering intelligence on individuals involved and are using Stop and Search powers where appropriate.
A number of PSPO tickets, Community Protection Warnings, and Notices have been issued. CCTV coverage has been increased, and we are working closely with Milton Keynes Council to target harden the area.
Thames Valley Police and Milton Keynes Council are also engaging with licensed premises in the vicinity to improve controls around the sale of alcohol and to prevent sales to individuals who are causing, or are likely to cause, anti-social behaviour.

Rough Sleeping and ASB, Sainsbury’s Car Park

    Issued 01 June 2026

    Action taken:

Following a number of complaints from members of the public, and an increase in calls for service, concerns were identified in relation to rough sleepers using the Sainsbury’s car park.
Reports included individuals bedding down within the car park and incidents of defecation in the area, causing concern for public health, safety, and amenity.
Officers attended the location with the car park owner and representatives from Sainsbury’s to carry out environmental audit and situational target hardening. As a result, the bottom floor of the car park will now be closed during night-time hours to prevent further issues.
Police have engaged directly with the regular rough sleepers at the location and have referred them to Milton Keynes Council for housing and support services. Individuals were moved on and provided with alternative locations where they can bed down safely and access appropriate support.
The area continues to be monitored, with regular patrols conducted by both the police and BID wardens to deter further issues and provide reassurance to the public.

ASB and street racing linked to Car Gatherings, Network Rail Car Park

    Issued 01 June 2026

    Action taken:

Thames Valley Police have received an increase in calls for service relating to anti-social behaviour and street racing associated with car gatherings, particularly on Sundays, at the Network Rail car park.
These incidents are linked to a regular Sunday car cruise, and the issue is currently being addressed through problem-solving measures under Operation Chromium.
Officers now regularly patrol the car park during peak times and engage with attendees to provide education around the car-related Public Space Protection Order conditions. Vehicles attending the location are monitored and recorded, and where necessary, warning letters are issued regarding congregating and behaviour at the site.
Any vehicles or drivers found to be acting in an anti-social manner are dealt with robustly through enforcement action, including the issuing of fixed penalty tickets or Section 59 warnings.
Live CCTV coverage is in place at the location, and any vehicles observed engaging in anti-social driving behaviour via this system will also be subject to enforcement action.
    Results of enforcement action:
    4 vehicles seized
    29 Section 59 warnings issued
    12 PSPO tickets issued
    19 fixed penalty notices issued
    2 community resolutions
    3 arrests
