Residents have raised concerns regarding speeding, dangerous driving and traffic related offences, particularly around school zones and busy commuter routes. Officers will conduct speed enforcement, work alongside Community Speedwatch, and take action against drivers who pose a risk to the community.
During OP DROVER (3 day operation), Officers conducted multiple speed watches and road safety activities within the rural villages and Newport Pagnell. 5 people were reported for driving offences (careless driving/ no insurance) and 60 speeding tickets were issued. High visibility patrols were completed over the days, to provide a deterrent. Also where communities have raised concerns around Road Safety, these have been fed directly back to the Community Safety team who supported the days of action.
