Rural Crime & Property Security

We will continue to target rural crime with a focus on burglary, theft of agricultural equipment, and criminal damage.

We will take a proactive approach to tackling rural crime and improving property security by carrying out high-visibility patrols in vulnerable locations, including rural communities, farms, and isolated properties.

We will work closely with residents and landowners to promote security measures and identify offenders.

We will investigate reports of rural crime robustly and provide crime prevention advice to all resident to help reduce opportunities for theft, vandalism, and other offences. Through enforcement, engagement, and partnership working, we aim to deter criminal activity and increase confidence within rural communities.

Anti-Social Behaviour in Rural Communities

We are receiving reports of anti-social behaviour in recreation grounds and public spaces, including noise nuisance, environmental damage, and youth-related ASB.

We will work proactively with local authorities and community groups to address the reported issues.

We will carry out high-visibility patrols at key times, engage with individuals involved in disruptive behaviour, and work closely with local partners to identify underlying causes.

Where offences are committed, appropriate action will be taken and offenders will be dealt with robustly.

We will use early intervention and community engagement to deter future incidents

Your reports are being actively monitored by us, and fed back to the relevant department and agency (Milton Keynes Council) to support the Problem Solving approach.

We encourage anyone affected by the anti-social behaviour to report it, as every report helps us build a clearer picture of the issues and take appropriate action.

Road Safety & Speeding in Rural Areas

Community concerns around Road Safety were fed directly back to the Community Safety team who are in support of days in action.

We will carry out high-visibility patrols and active speed monitoring in identified locations to deter unsafe driving, enforce speed limits, and improve road safety. By focusing resources on locations where risks have been identified, we will seek to deter unsafe driving behaviours and encourage compliance with speed limits.

We will also work alongside local residents, partner agencies, and community groups to better understand concerns and develop long-term solutions that improve road safety.
