Speed checks continue in the village with Officers monitoring offenders and sending letters. So far this year ASB has continued to reduce.The community speedwatch coordinator has been liaising with the team and has been pleased to announce updating of the CSW software.

Regular patrols throughout January, February and March 2025. High viability reassurance completed and we have seen a reduction in ASB. This will be closely monitored in the coming months as the weather improves and nights get lighter. Summer holidays traditionally see a rise on offending specifically around water. We will liaise with partners to ensure safety messages are broadcast via social media.

Completed House to House and CCTV enquires following reports of theft offences from motor vehicle
Provided high visibility presence in areas identified as being targeted by criminals for theft of motor
vehicle offences including car parks and laybys used overnight.
The team continue to monitor to ensure compliance coming into the summer months. Enforcement has been carried out which has seen multiple offenders given warnings by letter. E scooters are also being targeted with seizures taking place. Community speed watch is being used effectively by the village groups with support from the team.A planned traffic related operation will take place in the summer months.
