Thefts from vehicles, particularly work vans

This month two suspects have been arrested for burglaries that have taken place across the west Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire area. This has been a really positive result following the increase in burglaries in our area.
We have continued to regularly patrol areas that are more frequently targeted for thefts from vehicles and burglaries, with specific patrols dedicated to this.
The team has also been dedicated to assisting and educating residents in the best security measures that they can take to prevent becoming a victim of vehicle crime or burglary.

Shoplifting, e-bike riding, and general anti-social behaviour within our town and village centres.

The neighbourhood team have continued to tackle ASB and shoplifting in Chipping Norton and the surrounding towns and villages.
Through partnership working local businesses, we have continued to attend shoplifting reports, with some great results following intervention in the early stages of these offences.
We have also continued to support victims of ASB in the area, with one of our most prominent offenders receiving out of court intervention, which will result in a date at court if the order is not complied with.

Drug dealing

This month we have continued to focus on tackling drug related crime. Reports that have been provided to us help us build intelligence pictures about what is going on in the area, and where we can focus our patrols and interventions.
This month we have dealt with numerous reports of cannabis use, and have dealt directly with the individuals involved; offering support where needed and working with our partner agencies in tackling this issue.
