The Neighbourhood Inspector has overall responsibility for the entire neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constables, PCSOs and police staff. They are responsible for delivering on neighbourhood policing strategies, directing the deployment of the team and developing relationships with partners and key stakeholders to enable the neighbourhood policing team to work effectively.
The Sergeant is next in command and also assists the Inspector. In addition they provide leadership in the development and supervision of the Constables and PCSOs. They too work with the community and other agencies to ensure that the concerns of the community are dealt with by the Neighbourhood Team.
This officer is a Constable and takes direction from the Sergeant and they work with the community and other agencies. They are also responsible for tackling those issues as identified by the local community.

They too are also responsible for tackling the concerns of the community.

Drug Crime and ASB - Angel & Greyhound Meadow

The NHPT have listened to community concerns regarding drug crime and ASB occurring in and around the location.
In response to these concerns, the NHPT have increased patrols in the area and completed houses to house to reassure the community and gather information about the issues raised.

The Neighbourhood team are aware of community concerns about ASB in this area. This consists of the use of drugs and possible drug supply in the area.
The team have commenced work to deal with this issue and will ensure patrols are increased as well as targeted Police operations and action.

ASB - Cowley Road

The community have highlighted at recent Have Your Say events that ASB on Cowley Road is a community concern. The majority of reports suggest that vehicle related ASB was the biggest issue and gave examples of engine noise (from revving) and vehicles driving erratically and as such, dangerously.
The team have listened to these concerns and are planning joint work with partner agencies such as environmental health teams and traffic departments.
