ASB & suspected Drug dealing within the Walnut Tree

Despite seeing a 59% decrease in reported ASB, the NHPT are aware of drug use and suspected drug dealing in the Walnut Tree estate. NHPT are actively targeting the hot spot areas and target individuals suspected of being involved in criminality. NHPT officers are engaging with the local schools to identify if students are involved in the reported ASB.

NHPT have identified an increase in reports of Cannabis use in the small parking areas and a number of car meets. NHPT are actively patrolling the hot spot areas in the evening time to identify and deal with the suspects criminally. NHPT will continue to engage and deter any alleged suspects. Any vehicle related ASB will be dealt with via a Section 59 warning letter.

An increase in illegal use of E-scooters within Glebe Farm.

The NHPT are aware of the use of illegal e-scooters within numerous geographical estates. PCSOs can now use legislation to seize e-scooters and will continue to provide high visibility patrols, target harden areas known for regular use and road traffic legislation will be used. NHPT will continue to educate members of the public, however, a pro active operation is due to commence in the next few months.
